Cooking Class Photos

A gift of beautiful chiles from a student

June Cooking Class Photos
Below are some photos from a Mexican Gourmet Course. The students for these classes are Mexicans, who mainly work as cooks for foreigners who send them to my cooking school to expand their cooking repertoires. Because they love to see their photos online and because I like to honor their efforts, I frequently post photos of what we do. Here are just few of the soups and appetizers we have prepared recently:

The Mexican Gourmet Class:

Sherried Black Bean Soup with Shrimp
Huitlacoche Pâté with Cilantro Salsa (ugly, but oh so delicious)
Pecan Soup with Chipotle Chile
Mexican Gazpacho with Tomatillos and Pumpkin Seeds
Sun-Dried Tomato and Chipotle Pesto
Roasted Cactus Salad with Pumpkins Seeds, Carrots, and Jícama with Tequila-Margarita Vinaigrette
